SMS Program & Text Message Opt-In

Estimation Pro is the sender of every message described on this page.

What this program is

Contractors who create an Estimation Pro account can choose to receive text messages from Brad, the founder. There are two separate programs, each with its own consent checkbox:

Account and support texts (informational): a personal welcome message, check-ins on how setup is going, and replies to questions you text us.
Tips and offers (marketing): estimating tips, new feature announcements, and occasional promotional offers. This consent is collected separately and is never bundled with the account texts consent, account creation, or acceptance of our Terms.

Message frequency varies for both programs. Message and data rates may apply.

Agreeing to texts is completely optional and is never a condition of creating an account, purchasing anything, or using Estimation Pro.

How consent is collected

During account onboarding inside the Estimation Pro web app, users are shown an optional form asking for their name and cell phone number, followed by two separate, unchecked consent checkboxes: one for account and support texts, and a second, standalone checkbox for marketing texts. Neither box is required to create an account, and checking one does not check the other. We only send each type of text to users who enter a mobile number and check that specific box themselves. The date and time of each consent is stored with the account. This is the exact language shown:

Your privacy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and SMS consent are shared only with the SMS delivery providers necessary to send you messages, and are never sold. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
